Tahuya Community Club Welcomes You

Welcome to the Tahuya Community Club! We are delighted that you found us online and are excited to meet you in person.

The TCC has a rich history dating back to World War I when a few local families banded together to raise money for the Red Cross. Later on, they organized social events such as meals and dancing to entertain the community, which was challenging to reach since it could only be accessed via the “Mosquito Fleet.”

The construction of North Shore Road in 1924 significantly reduced the need for water taxis, and World War II brought in many new families. However, the sense of community remained strong. Although there are only a few reminders of the early days, our community club endures, welcoming new families.

Our highlight event is the annual Tahuya Day Parade, which brings everyone together to carry on the tradition of community.
